I' am one of the millions of applicants in the call center, currently i was employed by one of the pioneering call center here in the Philippines.
When i decided to go back, amazinglly every call cneter has its own procedures and process on how the y will accept their staff. One call center ask mo to have a 2 weeks training of the English Proficiency. It was very good and very inspiring. but at the end i was cuoght in a big surprize because i never expected to fail. But life has to move on, i was so thankful with the training and the fun i had, especially the new friends that i gain.
The second call center, i was accepted as outbound agent together with my best friend during our training in the other call center, it was fun but when we were able to know the entry level of the salary, we retrieve from the training. We tried other call centers and it was very discriminating to accept graduates of Nursing. They don't like to hire nurses. Some of the call center doesn't even to accept undergraduates which i think some of them got better qualifications. It is really disappointing to some of the applicants that they were discriminated, with or without education. What about you ?..... i hope you did not had this.
